Bursar Primary Academy External Partners

Collaborating with Local Agencies for Comprehensive Support

At Bursar Primary Academy, we believe in the power of collaboration to ensure our students and families receive the most appropriate and effective support. We work closely with a range of local agencies and expert organizations to provide tailored services that address the diverse needs of our community.

Some of our key partnerships:

  1. Women’s Aid
Women’s Aid offers support for families who may be experiencing domestic abuse. They provide confidential advice, counseling, and resources to help children and parents navigate difficult situations with care and safety.

  2. Healing Hands Play Therapy
As part of our commitment to emotional well-being, we work with Healing Hands Play Therapy to offer therapeutic support for children who may have experienced trauma or are struggling with emotional challenges. Their expertise in play therapy helps children express and process their feelings in a safe and supportive environment.

  3. NHS School Dentistry Team
We also collaborate with the NHS School Dentistry Team to ensure our students’ oral health is prioritized. The team provides dental check-ups and treatments, ensuring that all children have access to necessary dental care.

By working with these experts, we are able to offer a comprehensive range of services that support the physical, emotional, and mental well-being of our Bursar community. Our goal is to ensure that every child and family has access to the resources they need to thrive.

Bursar Primary Academy Coffee Mornings

We love to collaborate, share support, and create an open forum for conversations between our school, parents, and the experts we work closely with.

Our coffee mornings are a fantastic opportunity to:

-Interact and ask questions

-Share success stories

-Connect with fellow parents over a coffee

These events take place once per term (three times a year) and are hosted in our dining hall.

We regularly invite external experts such as:

  • The local dentist team
  • Compass Go
  • SEND Parents Forum
  • Women’s Aid
    …and many more!

All parents are warmly invited to join us—we look forward to welcoming you!
