Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL)

Our Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) is Miss Sophie Follan with Mrs Kate Finney, Mrs Charlotte Dierking and Mrs Jessica Gregory acting as Deputy Designated Safeguarding Leads. Mrs Danielle Melhuish serves as our Attendance Officer, with Miss Victoria Hambling as our Child Protection and Pastoral Co-ordinator.

Pupils who need support  with specific social, emotional, health or behavioural issues can be supported both within school and by outside agencies if required.  If you have any concerns please seek advice from the office who will ensure they are raised with the appropriate member of staff to ensure the support your child may need.

Please refer any educational/classroom queries directly to the class teacher either by phone 691798 asking for a call back or by email to admin@bursar.het.academy

The academy continues building on partnerships between health and social care services such as the School Nurse service, CAMHS, Early Years Support Services, Family Resource Service, CAF Team, and Family Action Support Team and the Community Parenting Support Advisory Service. The school team are able to signpost onto specialist services and let parents and carers know of other agencies and support available within the local community.
