Welcome to Pine Class
This year, Pine Class is taught by Mrs Bygott (Monday and Tuesday) and Miss Wainman (Wednesday, Thursday and Friday). We are a mixed Year 1 and Year 2 class. Our classroom nurtures creativity, fun and a love of learning! We have lots of fantastic things planned for our year together!
In Year 1 and Year 2, reading is really important. We send home reading books every week for your child to make good progress in their reading. Books will be given out on a Monday and returned to school on a Friday. Phonics is also a really important part of early reading and writing- it can help your child in all aspects of their learning. Please see the separate phonics page for more information.

P.E.
This term Pine Class will have 2 P.E. sessions. These will be on Tuesday and Friday
Please send your child to school in their P.E. kits on these days.
Our P.E. kit is a plain white t-shirt, plain black shorts or jogging trousers and black trainers or plimsoles. Our school sweatshirt can also be worn.
